RUSTIC STATUES

Our rustic statues are all treated with linseed oil and can therefore be placed outdoors. Simply apply a fresh coat of linseed oil from time to time to protect it.

We use sand and white artistic cement as raw materials for our rustic crafts.
The work is done using moulds. It takes several hours to set, depending on the ambient temperature.
The statues are washed fresco or sandblasted to give them a stone-like texture.
The statues are decorated with polychrome or diluted monochrome patinas to give them a natural transparency.
Our statues are protected with a natural waterproofing agent.

The charm of this craft lies in the ancient, natural aspect of the raw material, the porosity and transparency of the finishes.
The eye is drawn to help the soul to meditate, pray and marvel.
